Sidelined by Party, Palamaner Leader Subhash Chandra Bose Quits TDP
Chittoor: Senior TDP leader RV Subhash Chandra Bose has said there was no meaning left for him to continue in the party after a series of insults at the hands of party leadership. Citing exclusion and insults, he said as a self-respecting person, he is left with no choice but to resign from the party.
The Palamaner Assembly constituency TDP leader said he will soon reveal his future plans. Addressing his party supporters in Gangavaram mandal on Monday, Bose said he was associated with the TDP since its inception.
“After the joining of ‘turncoat’ Amarnath Reddy, the TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu started ignoring me and later the party completely sidelined me,” said Subhash Chandra Bose.
He asserted that he had been with the party for over four decades but never faced this kind of humiliation. Noting that the TDP leader Nara Lokesh who would call him the Tiger of Palamaner, sidelined him when his Yuvagalam yatra recently passed through the assembly segment. He said Amarnath has become the new lion for him.
Praising the YSRCP minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy for quickly acting on his request to allot some land for bus servicing in the Industrial Estate, Bose said he campaigned for the victory of Amarnath Reddy in earlier elections, however, he turned a deaf year when he submitted a representation for the allotment of land for bus maintenance workshop.
He added that the TDP is no longer the party he had worked for and therefore he’s decided to resign from the party.
