Kapu Leader Harirama Jogaiah Junks TDP-Janasena Manifesto Draft

 - Sakshi Post

West Godavari: Kapu Samkshema Sena convener and former MP Chegondi Harirama Jogaiah has severely criticised the TDP-Janasena combine poll manifesto draft. Expressing his dissatisfaction, the TDP leader said the manifesto does not contain anything to fulfill the needs of the people.

In a letter, Harirama Jogaiah said the mini poll manifesto released by the TDP-Janasena combine lacks substance which is required to go before the people in 2024 state assembly elections.

“The poll manifesto does not speak about fulfilling the basic needs of people. The mini manifesto drafted by two parties is not good enough to lure the voters with poll promises. The manifesto  should have been drafted keeping the four crore people of the state in mind,” Harirama Jogaiah said in his letter.

The Kapu leader also said that the draft manifesto does not match the welfare programmes being implemented by the ruling YSRCP.

The differences between the allies are slowly coming to the fore. The members of the coordination committees of TDP and Janasena combine are holding talks at district and constituency levels,  however, this is not changing the ground situation for both the parties. The impatience among the party cadres is quite visible as Janasena cadre does not seem to be happy with the alliance.

The Janasena party cadre are asking some uncomfortable questions to the party leadership like why did we criticise the TDP earlier? Why are we putting the JSP’s core agenda in the cold storage? How many seats will Janasena get as part of the seat-sharing formula? The cadre is also complaining that the TDP leadership is not giving them due respect.
