This isn't Corporate Hospital, This is AP Govt Hospital: Kona Praises CM Jagan
Bapatla: Healthcare sector has received a major boost during the last five years of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy government in Andhra Pradesh and this development is visible in the government-run hospitals.
After hearing the hype about the improved public health system in the state, Kona Venkat, Tollywood producer and screenwriter, took some time off from his busy schedule to visit a government hospital and see for himself.
When Venkat stepped into the hospital, his initial reaction was OMG. Yes, that’s what he said. He was not expecting the state-of-the-art health infrastructure in a government hospital. He visited a children’s hospital in his hometown Bapatla. He inspected the ICU ward for new born babies and spoke to the doctors available.
The producer could not believe that a government hospital could be developed on par with the corporate hospitals. He acknowledged that the development in the public health sector is indeed a true development and the hype is not without a reason.
OMG !!
This is not a corporate Hospital in any city..
This is an ICU ward for New Born babies in the Government Hospital of my Hometown BAPATLA ❤️
Thanks to our Chief Minister @ysjagan garu for making our government hospitals compete with any corporate Hospitals ❤️💪… pic.twitter.com/knxJqIpz5h— KONA VENKAT (@konavenkat99) April 25, 2024
It may be noted here that the YSRCP government has invested another Rs 20,000 crore to modernise the health sector while it is providing free treatment to nearly 85 percent of the people of the State under the YSR Arogyasri scheme.
In order to improve the public health system, the YS Jagan government has established a total of 10,032 YSR Village Clinics, 1,142 PHC s and 560 Urban Health Centres. Andhra Pradesh is also at the forefront in providing telemedicine with 66,000 tele-consultation calls being attended a day.
