If Adireddy Apparao Can Go to Jail: What Did Undavalli Say on Margadarsi Violations 

Visakhapatnam: Swarnandhra Vedika organised a discussion on ‘Irregularities and facts of Ramoji Rao’s Margadarsi’ on Sunday. Former MP Undavalli Arun Kumar, Chartered Accountant M Nagarjuna Reddy, Advocate MSN Sharma, Swarnandhra editor KGB Tilak, intellectuals and people from different walks of life attended the discussion. 

Speaking on the occasion, Advocate MSN Sharma accused the Margadarsi Chit Fund (MCF) of cheating its gullible depositors by not returning their money. He asked whether Margadarsi had money to pay back to their depositors. 

Swarnandhra editor KGB Tilak slammed the media mogul Ramoji Rao for allegedly indulging in  irregularities such as routing the public money to mutual funds etc. He said a new political mafia has come up in the state and it’s joined hands with a section of the media. Tilak lauded the efforts of Undavalli Arun Kumar for single handedly following up the Margadarsi case and winning the legal battle. 

Later, Former MP Undavalli Arun Kumar told the gathering that he had no differences with Ramoji Rao. He said he only wanted the chit fund company to come clean on the status of deposits. Referring to a similar case in which the TDP leader Adireddy Apparao was arrested, Undavalli wondered if Ramoji would be an exception under the law?
