Ex-TDP MLA Dhulipalla Absconding After Attack on Dairy Farmers
Guntur: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) senior leader and former MLA Dhulipalla Narendra Kumar has been absconding following the attack on dairy farmers earlier this week. The associates of the former MLA had attacked Musunuri Ramu including other farmers from Rangapuram of Eluru district. Notably, Narendra Kumar is the chairman of Sangam cooperative milk producers’ company (Sangam dairy).
Ramu has filed a complaint with the Chebrolu police saying that the aides of TDP leader attacked him at Sangam Dairy on November 15. The dairy farmer said he was attacked when he asked the management to clear the pending 14 percent bonus payment to the milk producers.
This angered the associates of Narendra Kumar who allegedly beaten him with sticks. Based on Ramu’s complaint, the police have filed an FIR against the TDP leader and the accused persons. The police have formed three special teams and launched a manhunt to nab the absconding leader.
