Differences Crop Up Between TDP and Janasena Over Content of Poll Manifesto

 - Sakshi Post

The TDP is making so much fuss over it’s election manifesto titled as ‘Bhavishatku guarantee’ (Guarantee for future). The Opposition party has been delaying the release of its manifesto. The poll manifesto was supposed to be out by Dasara, however, it got delayed following the arrest of Chandrababu Naidu in the multi-crore skill development scam case and later the TDP joined hands with Pawan Kalyan-led Jana Sena Party (JSP) for the 2024 Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections.

The leaders from TDP-Janasena combine are meeting today to hold deliberations on the joint manifesto. Yanamala Rama Krishnudu, Ashok Babu and Kommareddy Pattabhi Ram from TDP and Varaprasad, Mutha Sasidhar and Sharat Kumar are discussing the contents of the poll manifesto.

The TDP-JSP combine reportedly lacks clarity on the contents of the joint manifesto. Unlike the ruling YSRCP which considers its manifesto and fulfilled almost all its promises made to the people, the Opposition TDP is only concerned about making a poll manifesto which appeals to the voters.

It is being said that the TDP and it’s ally Janasena have disagreements on some key points of the joint manifesto. The Janasena leaders have demanded explanation over the raised issues and asserted their authority in the making of the poll manifesto. It’s not clear when the opposition alliance will release its manifesto. The TDP chief is bound to go back to Rajahmundry central prison as his conditional bail is set to expire on November 28.
