CM Jagan's Transparent Governance Leaves no Scope For Corruption: AP Govt Whip
Amaravati: Government Whip Samineni Udaya Bhanu came down heavily on opposition TDP leader Pattabhiram for falsely accusing his son of getting involved with drugs and said that he would file a defamation case.
Speaking to the media here on Sunday, he agreed to a medical examination on his son if Chandrababu Naidu, Bhuvaneswari, Lokesh, and his wife Brahmani also get tested for drug use. He said that TDP leader Pattabhi has no moral right to speak about his family and warned him to watch his language. He demanded that he prove the allegations with evidence and stated that he is ready for any investigation.
Further, the MLA clarified that his family is not involved in any irregularities and has no connection with the Nalgonda case. He said that TDP leaders are intentionally trying to blame him as they couldn’t fight and win against him during elections.
There are instances where heroin was supplied through Heritage milk packets and people are also aware of Lokesh’s lifestyle and his parties, he said. Udaya Bhanu also stated that people had already refused TDP in all elections and it is time for the opposition to learn a lesson instead of playing cheap politics.
Refuting the allegations that YSRCP leaders were involved in sand mafia and sidetracking PDS rice, he said that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has ensured transparent governance, which leaves no scope for corruption. The AP government is ensuring a fair supply of PDS rice, sand, and alcohol in the State and taking stern action against the irregularities, he signed off.
