CM Jagan Warns Against "Going Back 10 Years" if Naidu is Elected

 - Sakshi Post

Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy delivered a stern warning to the people during a public meeting in Nandyala as part of his bus yatra "Memantha Siddham". He cautioned that voting for Chandrababu Naidu in the upcoming elections would set the state back by ten years.

"If we choose Chandrababu, we'll all go backward by a decade. Consider who brought positive changes during their tenure. Your family's fate hangs on this vote. Let this be Mosala Babu's final election. We've brought progress and welfare to every village. Pensions are issued consistently each month. Our governance is free from corruption and bias. Government schools have undergone significant improvements."

CM Jagan was keen to highlight his government's development and welfare initiatives during their tenure. He pointed to the remarkable improvements in government schools, where English medium education has been introduced, transforming the educational landscape in Andhra Pradesh. He also described how all the opposition groups teamed up against him, saying they only joined forces to oppose the progress his government made

"They want to talk about Nara's leadership again. Let's discuss YSRCP's five-year rule. On one side, it's just me, on the other, there's Babu, Pawan, BJP, and indirectly Congress. They've all joined forces against me. We've made many changes in five years, helping farmers, and will win all assembly seats. We're set to win all MP seats too. We'll continue the progress for another five years. We've put 2.77 lakh crore rupees directly into people's accounts, giving 80% of jobs to disadvantaged groups. These elections will shape the people's future," he added.

Turning his attention to Naidu's previous tenure, Jagan didn't hold back in accusing him of failing to deliver on numerous promises. He questioned why Naidu, who had served as Chief Minister three times, didn't fulfill commitments.

"Did Chandrababu fulfill his promises of waiving farmers' loans and those of savings societies? What about the pledge to deposit Rs. 25,000 for each girl child born and provide unemployment benefits? Did he allocate three cents of land per family? Why didn't he fulfill these commitments despite being Chief Minister three times? Babu and co. are back to deceive with new-colored manifestos and tricks. Politics should be about values and credibility, but Chandrababu and his associates are focused on theft and looting," the CM said.

"In 58 months, we've brought welfare to every home and revamped government schools and hospitals. Raised Arogyasree limit to Rs. 25 lakh, added 3,000 procedures. Set up 10,600 village clinics and 10,700 centers for farmers. Reopened closed dairies, supported dairy farmers, and earned a place in the hearts of the poor," he added.

Concluding his address, Jagan issued a rallying cry to the people, calling on them to prepare for "war." "In 2014, Chandrababu made colorful promises. Now, they're introducing new pledges called Super Six. However, farmer loan waivers and Dwarka loan waivers never materialized. They pledged Rs. 24,000 for every girl child born, but not even a single rupee was delivered. It's time for the people to prepare for war," the CM concluded.
