Survey: CM YS Jagan Once Again; Predicts Landslide Victory for YSRCP in AP Polls 2024
VIjayawada: The incumbent YSRCP will retain the power in the ensuing elections to Andhra Pradesh assembly and the polling agency ELECSENSE has confirmed it in its latest survey.
The pollster has predicted that CM YS Jagan-led YSRCP will win a second term in the 2024 elections with a modest 49.14 percent vote share. According to the pre-poll survey, TDP will continue to be the opposition party despite joining hands with Pawan Kalyan-led Jana Sena Party (JSP) which has been predicted to achieve only 0.56 percent of votes in the ensuing assembly election. The TDP and Jana Sena combine is expected to get 44.34 percent vote share.
Despite the change of guard in Andhra Pradesh Congress, the Sharmila factor does not seem to be working in the favour of Indian National Congress favour as the party is predicted to win zero seats in the elections. Purandeswari-led BJP is also predicted to draw a blank in the state polls.
The pollster has covered all 175 Assembly constituencies in the state and ensured proper representation across demographics in its sample size of 88,700. The polling agency has said it’s taken extra care in validating the physically collected samples while omitting the unverified data.
According to the survey, 53.7 percent of respondents have expressed their satisfaction with the pro-people governance of chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Women voters have said that they want to see YS Jagan Mohan Reddy as the chief minister and YSRCP back in power in the upcoming elections.
