AP CM YS Jagan Wishes TDP Chief Chandrababu A Speedy Recovery
AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tuesday, wished the Leader of Opposition, N Chandrababu Naidu a speedy recovery and good health through his Twitter handle. The Telugu Desam Party chief had tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday.

Chandrababu issued a statement in this regard through his Twitter handle. "I've tested positive for COVID with mild symptoms. I have quarantined myself at home and taking all the necessary precautions. I would request those who came in contact with me to get themselves tested at the earliest. Please be safe and take care," Naidu tweeted.

Chandrababu Naidu's son, MLC Nara Lokesh also tested positive and shared that he was asymptomatic and was self-isolating.

Active coronavirus cases in AP crossed the 30,000 mark to reach 30,182 on Monday as 4,108 fresh positives were added in the state. In the 24 hours ending 9 am today, 22,882 samples were tested, which turned a positivity rate of about 19 percent, a four percent rise over Sunday. The latest bulletin said 696 infected persons got cured in a day, while no fresh Covid-19 death was reported in the state.
