AP Assembly Speaker Accepts Resignation of TDP MLA  

Vijayawada: The opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has suffered a blow after the State Assembly speaker Thammineni Sitaram accepted the resignation of TDP MLA and former minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao which was pending for nearly two years on Tuesday. 

Srinivasa Rao had resigned from the membership of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly in February 2021. Announcing his decision, the TDP legislator had sent his resignation letter to the Speaker. Subsequently, he submitted another resignation letter in the Speaker format.
