Another Poll Survey Predicts Clean Sweep for YSRCP
Amaravati: Ruling YSRCP will once again sweep the Lok Sabha elections in 2024, according to Times Now-ETG Survey. The latest survey predicted that the YSRCP will win 21-22 parliamentary seats with 49 percent vote share. The survey predicted only 3 seats for the opposition’s TDP-Janasena bloc. It said the BJP will get only 2 percent votes while Congress, Left parties and others may get 4 percent vote share in the General elections.
Notably, pre-poll surveys carried out by the leading media organizations like Zee News, Republic TV and several others have already predicted a massive win for the ruling party in both Assembly and Lok Sabha elections which will likely take place in April/May.
In its report, the Times Now channel’s news editor Padmaja Joshi said that the Times Now-ETG Survey was executed days after TDP and Janasena joined hands for elections. She added that the survey was conducted from December 13, 2023 to March 7, 2024 and the sample size was 3,23,257 respondents.
The analysis of the survey revealed that the majority of the survey respondents have termed the TDP and Janasena’s alliance as opportunistic. Most of the respondents have expressed their satisfaction with the ruling YSRCP party’s government. They also told the pollster’s team that the chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had fulfilled 99 percent of the promises he made to the voters during the previous elections.
