Director Maruthi Appeals To Intermediate Students Not To Resort To Suicide

Maruthi Dasari is a director, screenwriter, Film producer in Telugu cinema. Well known for directing low budget film's like Ee Rojullo, Bus stop Maruthi is associated with Maruthi Talkies, a film production house in Telugu Film Industry.

With the Intermediate exam results being out,here has been a lot of news about the results being wrong in many cases. But students have been taking these results to heart and the state has seen over 18 suicides over the Intermediate board results.

Maruthi has taken to twitter to try and reach out the the kids depressed about their exams by telling them that he himself was an average student who took a liking and interest towards films and worked towards it, and that has led him to being the person he is today.

He sent out a message to students not to resort to suicide and instead work towards their dreams and not towards these judging scales called exams.

The tweet reads as follows: “Dear Students Exams R not judges of our skills & future. I am average at studies but later became topper in animation,studies didn't made me director but my passion towards films. So don't lose heart, Dear parents train ur children to face Life, don't pressure/bother abt exams”

He later went on to pay his condolences to the families who had lost their family members to suicides due to the Inter results.
