World Class Capital City Could Have been Built With That Money: Vijaysai

Visakhapatnam: YSR Congress Party Rajya Sabha MP V Vijaysai Reddy said that with Rs 3 lakh crores that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu had looted from the state exchequer and saved in foreign countries a world class capital city could be built. Speaking to media during his Sangheebhava Padayatra to express his solidarity with party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's Praja Sankalpa Yatra, he demanded that the central government bring back the amount that Chandrababu had hoarded in foreign countries.

Vijaisai Reddy said that people were voluntarily meeting him at the padayatra to pour out their woes. He was concerned growing number of atrocities against women and said that it was disturbing to note that many TDP ministers and MLAs were involved in these atrocities and cheating.

The YSRCP MP said that over the last four years TDP befriended BJP and amassed Rs 3 lakh crores. Now having understood the opposition against BJP among the public, Chandrababu has changed his stance. He pointed out that the TDP came out of NDA and started accusing BJP of cheating the state. "Moreover Chandrababu was indulging in false propaganda that YSRCP was in alliance with TDP. In fact we have no tie-ups with any party and this was clarified by our party President," he asserted.

He said the people were waiting for elections to teach a proper lesson to TDP and Chandrababu. The TDP Chief should explain against whom he was doing Dharma Poratam tomorrow in Visakhapatnam. Chandrababu was not doing Dharma Porata, the meetings were just to cover-up his failures and blame other parties, he said and added that the AP CM was misusing the government machinery for his protest programmes.
