Boy Fails Class 10 Board Exam, Celebrations At Home!

What does your father do if you fail in exam? He either chides you, or expresses his disappointment in some clear manner. But a father in Madhya Pradesh had thrown a party to his friends and neighbours after his son failed in the class 10 exams.

Surendar Kumar Vyas, a resident of Gadarwara in Madhya Pradesh distributed sweets and burnt fire crackers on learning his son had failed in the exam. When the neighbours asked Vyas about his move, he just said that he wants to motivate his son.

"When children fail in the exam, they go into depression thinking that their family would reprimand them. Some children even commit suicide on learning that they did not perform well in the exam. I want to send out a message to children that there is a lot more in life other than exams. I told my son that he can re-take the exam next year," he said.

His son Ashu was overwhelmed by his father's gesture. "I promise my dad that I'll definitely succeed in the next academic exams with excellent results," Ashu said.
The incident has proved to be a lesson to all parents and  children obsessed with success in exams.

The flip end of it that the fear of failure always looms large, threatening the careers, and in some cases, the lives of students.
