Mahanati Gets More Screens in USA  

Keerthy Suresh starrer Mahanati in which the filmmaker has showcased the true life story of legendary actress Savitri who ruled the film industry in 50s and 60s has become the talk of the town in Tollywood circles. Mahanati is doing unstoppable business and has kept the cash registers ringing at the box office ever since it opened in theatres.

Mahanati is creating waves at the ticket window. When it comes to foreign box office too, Mahanati has dethroned Allu Arjun's Naa Peru Surya in terms of collections and crossed the $1.5 million mark which is a rare feat to achieve for a women-centric film. It's celebration time for Keerthy Suresh fans.

Top Tollywood stars including the likes of director Vamshi and Megastar Chiranjeevi who looked up to late actress Savitri with reverence have heaped praises on the film unit for making a biopic which has already become the biggest hit in Tollywood. Recently, Megastar Chiranjeevi felicitated the entire film unit. Latest reports doing the rounds suggest that Tollywood producer Allu Aravind, Allu Arjun and Director Rajamouli too hosted a special dinner for the Mahanati team to celebrate the film's success. Pictures of the same have gone viral on social media.

Mahanati is directed by Nag Aswin and jointly produced by Swapna Dutt, Priyanka Dutt and Aswani Dutt. Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan who made his Tollywood debut with Mahanati has won a thunderous round of applause from critics and the audiences. Mahanati has turned out to be a hattrick for Samantha.
