KTR’s Tweet Gives Rythu Bandhu A Push

Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao tweeted yesterday displaying his whatsapp exchange with a shopkeeper in the city. The tweet went viral because of the intention that lay at the core of it. The shopkeeper expressed his keenness to donate to the Rythu Bandhu scheme, a path breaking initiative launched by Telangana Chief Minister k Chandrashekar Rao at Dharmarajupalle in Karimnagar district yesterday.
KTR tweeted his message from the shopkeeper Anil Kumar who said he wanted to contribute Rs 8000 out of which he would transfer Rs 4000 right away and sought the bank account details including the IFSC code. When KTR posted the message adding that it made his day, people from all over stepped forward to contribute their mite.

P Rajender from Sircilla stated that his daughter Akshitha wanted to donate Rs 30000 from piggy bank savings. The IT minister posted their messages and responded to them thanking them for their spontaneity.
