Chiranjeevi Aims To Break Charan’s Rangasthalam Record With Sye Raa

Megastar Chiranjeevi is the king of Tollywood who has been ruling the box office since the 80s. He is known to have introduced many actors to Tollywood like Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun Varun Tej and Sai Dharam Tej where some of them have already become A-listers in Tollywood.

Back home, Chiranjeevi is proud of seeing Ram Charan's Rangasthalam success. Charan's Rangasthalam went on to collect Rs 100 Cr share worldwide and it also beat Chiranjeevi's Khaidi No.150 record which was a comeback film of the mega star. Rumors are rife that Chiranjeevi now wants to break Ram Charan's Rangasthalam record with his upcoming flick Sye Raa.

The veteran actor says that he is both proud and jealous of his son’s achievement. “My next movie, Sye Raa, will create even bigger records,” he is reported to have said to his friends.

Sye Raa is being directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Ram Charan. Sye Raa is a biopic of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan completed his portion for the film last month. Some of the pictures of Big B also went viral on social media platforms.

Tamannaah Bhatia had shared screen space with actor Ram Charan in Magadheera and she has been roped in to play a cameo while Nayanthara will be seen playing the female lead in the film. Sye Raa is likely to hit the big screens by mid of next year. Watch this space for more.
