Amit Shah To Tour Telangana In June
Hyderabad: BJP Telangana State President K Laxman said that party National President Amit Shah would visit Telangana in the month of June. Speaking to the media here today, he said that Telangana BJP leaders would meet on May 14 and finalize Amit Shah's tour dates and again later on May 17 and 18 to draw up a final programme of Amit Shah's tour dates and places he would visit. BJP National General Secretary Satish would participate in the meeting.
Laxman said that the Modi government was helping in development of both the Telugu states and it is not right on the part of that the two Chief Ministers - K Chandrasekhar Rao and N Chandrababu Naidu who were making baseless accusations against the Centre. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari had laid the foundation for road development in Hyderabad two days ago. The project had a Rs 1500 crore funding, he said.
Praising the work of Nitin Gadkari, the BJP State chief said they were converting 3,000 km to national highways in Telangana within four years. He said that Rs 50,000 crore had been assigned for water supply and the project would put an end to the drinking water and irrigation water issues for AP, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka states.
"The Centre will spend Rs 5,000 crore for renovation of the Ramagundam Fertilizer Factory. The Centre also sanctioned all types of permits for the construction of the Kaleshwaram project,” Laxman said. He expressed surprise over the attitude of the TRS government despite the Centre extending all help.
He pointed out that in the last four years, the BJP government had spent a lot of money on Telangana. Lakshman alleged that both the chief ministers of the Telugu states were plotting against the BJP.
