Unnao: BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar Convicted For Rape 

NEW DELHI: A Delhi court on Monday convicted expelled BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar for kidnapping and rape a minor girl from Unnao in 2017. The court will hear arguments on quantum on sentence for Sengar on Wednesday.

Another accused in the case Shashi Singh has been acquitted of all charges.

Sengar was convicted for rape under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and POCSO Act for offence of public servant committing penetrative sexual assault on child.
