With Intestines In Hand, Man Goes In Search Of A Doctor At Wee Hours

Hyderabad: In a horrific incident, a man after accidentally falling from a moving train, reportedly walked for 10 km holding his intestines, which was ripped apart. The incident happened in Warangal district of Telangana.

The man has been identified as Sunil Chauhan. He is being treated at the MGM hospital after a prolonged surgery.

According to reports, Sunil, his brother and other migrant workers were travelling in Sanghamitra Express travelling from UP to Nellore in Andhra Pradesh in search for jobs.

When Sunil woke up at 2 am to relieve himself, he accidentally fell between the tracks when the train took a sharp turn. As it was the wee hours, no one noticed it or heard his scream.

Reports said that he had hit an iron rod and his stomach was ripped open. He also lost his cell phone.

Sunil then tied his shirt to his stomach and walked for 10 kms before he reached Hasanparthy station. The station master alerted police and also called the ambulance and he was rushed to MGM hospital in Warangal. His condition is said to be stable.

Doctors said that he was not under the influence of alcohol as they did nto find any traces of it, also he suffered injuries to his limbs and spine.

He called his brother and his family reached Warangal on Tuesday.
