PM Modi Reaction After Bombing Terror Camps In Pakistan - Sakshi Post

New Delhi: With the Indian Air Force striking the Jaish-e-Mohammed terror camp in Balakot, POK, the nation stood in solidarity to salute the armed forces.

According to the government sources, Prime Minister Narendra Modi monitored the Indian Air Force operation all night and relaxed only after the safe return of the pilots.

The Prime Minister is learned to have remained up all night without a wink of sleep and continued with his daily schedule on Tuesday. Following the operation, he congratulated the pilots and officials involved around 4.30 am. He then carried on with his daily routine and met the Cabinet Committee on Security at his residence around 10 am.

After this, PM Modi attended the Gandhi Peace Prize for 2015-2018 at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Later, the PM flew to Rajasthan for an election campaign meeting where he paid respects to the heroes of the surgical strike on Tuesday and asserted that the country was in safe hands.

In the evening, he returned to New Delhi to attend an ISKCON event.

Ahead of the Air Force strike, PM Modi attended a news channel conclave at the Taj Palace hotel on Monday night. He reached his 7 Lok Kalyan Marg residence at 9.25 pm and took his meal. Subsequently, he immediately became involved in the operation, reviewing the preparations for the airstrike on the training camp. Sources reveal that even though it is not clarified whether the Prime Minister was at home or any other location with a control room monitoring the air strike, he is learned to have been in contact with Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, National Security Adviser Ajit Doval and Air Force Chief B.S. Dhanoa throughout the operation.

He then checked with the officials regarding the safety of the pilots after the operation and upon learning on their safe-return, the PM then returned to other matters.
