Here’s How You Can Help CRPF Families
‘Bharat Ke Veer’ is a web page opened for people to help families who have lost their family members in the Pulwana terror attack. People who wish to contribute voluntarily can do so on the website.
This fund is managed under the Ministry of Home Affairs(MHA) with a committee comprising of Director Generals Director Generals of Central Armed Paramilitary Forces (CAPFs).
‘Bharat Ke Veer’ is a trust that allows the public to donate or contribute voluntarily to support families of martyrs of CAPFs -- BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, NDRF, NSG, SSB and Assam Rifles, the MHA said.
Expressing gratitude for the support, MHA said, "During the last few days there has been a tremendous response from people wanting to contribute through the website: bharatkeveer.gov.in."
"It is also reported that some unscrupulous elements are soliciting contributions from people through other accounts. It is advised that people desirous of supporting families of martyrs of CAPFs should only contribute through the website -- bharatkeveer.gov.in," the Ministry of Home Affairs said.
Due to some traffic, the website could become slow to access.
Apart from ‘Bharat Ke Veer,’ many other platforms have set up a donation for the martyred soldiers. Paytm is one such platform that has set up an icon named CRPF Bravehearts, and notifications were sent to Paytm users to make a donation if possible through the icon on their home page.
