Banda Shivananda Prasad Appointed As Advocate General Of Telangana.
Hyderabad: Banda Shivananda Prasad, a senior High Court advocate was appointed as Advocate General of Telangana. Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao made an official announcement to this effect on Friday.
Prasad hails from Jangaon and specialises in legal matters since 1987. Prior to this he even represented various national and private banks and in addition, different organisations as well for different cases in the High Court at Hyderabad.
Addressing the media, Prasad thanked the Chief Minister for giving an opportunity to Backward Classes and offering important constitutional position in the state. “No other Chief Minister in history gave such an opportunity to BCs. I intend to utilise it to the fullest by working in coordination with the state government to meet legal requirements and strengthen the bond with judiciary,” he said.
Meanwhile the newly appointed Advocate General has been requested by the government take charge at the earliest.
