Congratulations poured in for President-elect Ram Nath Kovind, who won a facile victory. Leading those sending congratulatory messages is Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself. He also congratulated Meira Kumar, the combined Opposition candidate, for her determined effort and spirited fight.
