Narendra Modi factor spurred T formation
Union Minister and senior BJP leader M.Venkaiah Naidu said that Congress party had carved out the state of Telangana only to offset the advent of Narendra Modi.
The party leaders and activists accorded a warm welcome to Venkaiah Naidu who came to Hyderabad for the first time after becoming a union minister.
The BJP leaders organized a rally from Begumpet airport to the state BJP office to mark the occasion and later felicitated Venkaiah Naidu.
Speaking on the occasion, Naidu said that the union government was committed for the development of both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
He commented that it would be better for state government of Telangana to maintain good relations with centre. “Development of Telangana is possible only when the state has good relations with centre,” said the minister.
He said that Bandaru Dattatreya would be given key responsibilities in the party soon at the national level.
“The dreams of poor people in the country are going to be fulfilled. All the election promises of BJP will be fulfiled,” said Naidu.
Significantly, Telangana BJP chief and Amberpet MLA Kishan Reddy was conspicuous by his absence.
