Nandyal Is Beginning Of TDP’s End: YS Jagan Says As Poll Campaign Ends

YS Jagan campaigning in Gandhi Chowk of Nandyal - Sakshi Post

Terming Nandyal bypoll a historic battle between right and the might, YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said Nandyal will be the beginning of the end for the Telugu Desam Party.

Winding up the two-week long marathon poll campaign in Nandyal, he conducted a massive rally in the Gandhi Chowk. He said the TDP was resorting to irregularities to dupe the voters. He said the people of Nandyal should make the YSRCP candidate victorious. He asked the people to leave the development of Nandyal to him. He said he would develop the constituency on par with Pulivendula.

He said Chief Minister did not visit Nandyal all these three years and has began crisscrossing the lanes and bylanes of the city only because the YSRCP was in the fray.

He said that unlike Chandrababu he would not lie and do everything he can to keep the word he gives. He said the trust and faith of the people is his only asset. He also scoffed at Chandrababu's threats of not undertaking any developmental activities if the TDP loses in Nandyal. He said the TDP was resorting to inducements and intimidation to dissuade people from voting for the YSRCP.

He also assured that once he became the chief minister, he would carve out a district with Nandyal as the headquarters. He said each parliamentary constituency in the state would be made into a district.
