Arjun Reddy’s Lip-Lock Doesn’t Go Well With VHR; Hero Says Thathayya Chill!

While Vijay Devarakonda's latest flick 'Arjun Reddy' is creating a buzz with passionate lip-lock and bold content, the ad of the film seems to have not gone down well with Congress leader V. Hanumanth Rao. Annoyed with the film poster on a RTC bus in the city showing the liplock, the Congress MP stopped the bus and ordered his guard to tear down the poster of Arjun Reddy.

Hanumanth Rao felt that such posters are ruining the youngsters in the state. And demanded that the Telangana government should act tough against such explicit content. "The government should not encourage such ads for money," he said.

Reacting to the news, hero of the movie Vijay Deverakonda took to his Facebook and commented: "Thathayya, chill" by posting the image.

The movie is all set for the release on August 25. Vijay plays a medico in the movie. The pre-release function of the movie was held at N Convention here in the city on Monday. The movie is banking on the image of Vijay, who became a celebrity due to the success of Peli Chupulu directed by Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam.
