Mysoora blames state, centre on power tariff hike

YSR Congress leader M V Mysoora Reddy on Sunday said it was the gross failure of the State and Central governments imposing the extremely high burden on the people.

Talking to reporters at Eluru, East Godavari district, Mysoora Reddy demanded that the State and the Centre should explain the people on hiking power charges. He found fault with the State government for fixing the Electricity Regulatory Commission (ERC) as responsible for the raise in charges. He said YSRCP would lay a siege to electric sub-stations protesting against the power charges and the party was extending its complete support to the proposed State bandh on April 9.
