MP Avinash Reddy inspects flood-hit crops

Pulivendula: YSR Congress Party MP from Kadapa Avinash Reddy made a visit to the flood-hit crops in YSR District on Thursday. He inspected the crops that were damaged by the untimely heavy rains under the impact of the recent cyclone.

Farmers of Chakrayapeta mandal had sown in wide area, but the crop stood damaged due to the heavy rains and high-speed winds. The crops were in harvesting stage and hence the farmers have lost heavily.

Avinash Reddy said the farmers have lost heavily and have no where to go to if the government does not immediately provide succour. He demanded that the TDP-led government immediately respond and extend support the aggrieved farmers by paying compensation.
