Mixed reaction to Jaitley's budget

  “Union Budget 2014-15 is a promising one,” said TDP leaders.

The Congress MPs, however, said that the BJP budget was not reflecting the aspirations of the people.

“Several allocations were done to Andhra Pradesh in the budget introduced by Arun Jaitley,” commented TDP MP Sujana Choudhury. He said that they are welcoming the budget heartfully. “The railway budget may have disappointed us. But, the union budget is very nice,” said the MP.

TDP MP Tota Narasimham said, “The budget is for a period of only eight months. But, it is a pro farmer budget.”

Congress MPs T.Subbarami Reddy and Rapolu Anand Bhaskar commented that the issue of allocations of funds for building the new capital of Andhra Pradesh did not figure in the budget. They commented that the budget is not reflecting the aspirations of the people.
