Mithun Reddy wins by a huge margin

YSRCP candidate Mithun Reddy won the election by defeating two former cabinet ministers in Rajampet parliamentary constituency.
NTR's daughter D Purandeswari (BJP) and Sai Pratap (Congress), both former union ministers, contested from this constituency. Both did everything at their command to defeat the YSRCP candidate.
Mithun Reddy, son of former minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, won by a whopping margin of 1,74,762 votes.
Ramachandra Reddy marshalled all his organisational skills to ensure his son's victory. Mithun got 1,05,772 votes in Punganur assembly segment. Purandeswari got 60,674 votes here while Sai Pratap got 4,927 votes.
The son-father duo has been spending their money for the development of Punganur assembly constituency.
Mithun thanked the voters who supported him and ensured his victory.
