Botsa & Co, all out !

Vizianagaram voters rejected all the four family members of former PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana in the just-concluded elections.

With his clout at Congress high command, he could get tickets for three of his family members along with him. But, all of them were defeated in the elections.

Botsa was defeated at Cheepurupalli assembly constituency in the hands of TDP candidate Kimidi Mrunalini by a margin of 20,812 votes.

His wife Botsa Jhansi was defeated in Vizianagaram parliamentary constituency. Here, she was defeated by the TDP candidate P.Ashoka Gajapati Raju.

Botsa's brother Appala Narasaiah was defeated in Gajapatinagaram assembly constituency. Here, he was defeated in the hands of TDP candidate K.A.Naidu by a margin of 19,421 votes.

Badukonda Appala Naidu, a close relative of the former minister, was defeated in Nellimarla assembly constituency. Here, he was defeated in the hands of TDP candidate P.Narayana by a margin of 6,669 votes.

Further, Yadla Ramana Murthy, a close associate of Botsa Satyanarayana, was defeated in Vizianagaram assembly constituency in the hands of former municipal chairperson Meesala Gita.
