Mishap occurred at CM’s meeting in Dwarapudi
Mandapet: A mishap at Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's public meeting at Dwarapudi near here today led to minor injuries to several people. Makeshift sheets for people to cross a culvert and reach the venue of the public meeting collapsed, leading to several people falling into it.
The organisers of the public meeting at Dwarapudi had placed sheets on the canal for the people to cross over. With people coming from both the directions, the sheets which are said to be of cheap quality, collapsed leading to many people falling down and sustaining injuries. Police rushed to the spot and extricated the trapped victims to come out.
Several ministers and TDP leaders participated in the Chief Minister's public meeting.
