Mathaiah’s quash petition deferred to Nov 16

Hyderabad: Mathaiah’s petition for removing his name from the sensational cash-for-vote scam has been postponed to November 16, next hearing date after the arguments on Friday.

ACB’s advocate argued that Mathaiah’s petition was not eligible for hearing, stating, moreover, ACB had already filed a charge-sheet against him in the Court. Mathaiah’s lawyer requested to grant some time to file a counter. 

Mathaiah was charged as A-4 in the notorious cash-for-vote case.
