Many SCR trains diverted due to heavy rains

The South Central Railway (SCR) has diverted several trains as the tracks are flooded in many places in coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh, it said.

It has also set up following helplines: Vijayawada - -0866/2575038 and 2767075, Gudur - 08624/251827, Nellore - 0861/2345863 and 2345864, Ongole - 08592-280202 and 280203, Rajahmundry - 0883/2420541,Tuni - 08854/252172, Anakapalli - 08924/221698.

Many trains were diverted as tracks were flooded between Jhadupudi and Ichchapuram, an official release said.
