Jagan challenges Speaker’s decision in Delhi High Court - Sakshi Post

YSR Congress Party president and Kadapa MP YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, along with MPs Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy of Nellore and SPY Reddy of Nandyal approached Delhi High Court on Thursday to get their resignations accepted.

Under rule 240 and article101 (3), the Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar recently rejected the resignations submitted by 13 MPs from Seemandhra region including Jagan, Mekapati and SPY Reddy, terming them 'impulsive'.
Challenging the Speaker's decision, the YSRCP leaders filed a writ petition in Delhi High Court contending that the decisions on their resignations were not taken on spur of moment. They affirmed that they quit their posts in concordance with the aspirations of the people, who were opposing State bifurcation tooth and nail.
