Man Held For raping 12-Year-Old Girl

Machilipatnam: A man was arrested on Monday for raping a 12-year-old girl in Jaggaiahpet of Krishna district. The accused along with two others sexually assaulted the girl in the last week of September.
The three accused were identified as P. Gopi, G. Chittibabu and K. Gopireddy. The trio allegedly raped the minor girl behind a local government office building at Thoragondapalem village of Jaggaiahpet Mandal in the last week of September. However, the victim accompanied by her mother lodged a complaint with Jaggaiahpet police on Sunday, said sub inspector S. Srikumar.
The victim had reportedly revealed about the rape to her parents this week as she was unable to bear the shock of the incident. The police registered a case and launched a hunt to nab the two accused, who were absconding
