Man commits suicide in police lockup

A man, who was in police custody in Chilakalaguda police station in Secunderabad on Monday allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself inside its premises, a senior police official said.
Hearing the news of the death, a number of relatives and friends arrived at the police station.
The victim's relatives alleging that that he ended his life unable to bear the harassment, they staged a dharna outside the police station demanding action against the police.
