APNGOs strike PIL adjourned to Tuesday - Sakshi Post

The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Monday postponed the hearing till tomorrow on a public interest litigation (PIL) field against the strike of APNGOs.

The petitioner contended that the strike by APNGOs was illegal and causing inconvenience to the public.
Earlier, APNGOs president P Ashok Babu said “Irrespective of the High Court’s view on the strike, we have decided to continue the agitation."

Over four lakh employees in Seemandhra (Rayalaseema and Andhra) are on indefinite strike since August 13, demanding the Centre to take back its decision to carve out a separate Telangana state.
