Man Arrested For Raping Daughter For 5 Years 

Gujarat: A 63-year-old man has been arrested on Monday for allegedly raping his daughter repeatedly over a period of five years.

According to police, the accused, a truck driver was arrested following a complaint by his 19-year-old daughter. The victim, in her complaint said that her father had been sexually exploiting her since she was 14. The abuse came to light when the girl complained of acute stomach ache after which her mother took her to a hospital and came to know that she was pregnant.

The victim said she was scared to reveal her pregnancy to the family due to threats by her father. However, her mother, after coming to know about the abuse, approached the police along with the daughter.

Police registered a case and took him into custody.
