Lovers’ suicide bid in Tirumala

A love couple made a vain bid to end their lives on the footpath way to Tirumala on Thursday. The lovers identified as Saraswati and Rajiv of Achampeta in Guntur district made an attempt to jump off from Mokallamitta hill peak.

Suspecting the couple, alert security staff of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) rescued them. They were rushed to hospital in Tirupati.
