Lorry falls into gorge, 3 dead, 38 injured
Kadapa: In a ghastly mishap, a lorry fell into a 30-feet deep gorge on Guvvalacheruvu Ghat Road on Monday. While three persons died, 38 persons suffered injuries.
The lorry was carrying 60 persons on a pilgrimage to Nagulaguttapalle village. The vehicle lost control and fell into the gorge near Ramapuram.
The police, who reached the spot after they were informed about the accident, shifted the injured persons to the RIMS hospital in Kadapa. The driver of the lorry, who suffered critical injuries, is battling for life.
