Lorry Driver Overran While Replacing Tyre

Shamshabad: A lorry driver died and a cleaner was critically injured when a truck hit them in Shamshabad mandal of Ranga Reddy district in the early hours of Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Srinivas Rao (48) and the cleaner Narasimha Rao is undergoing treatment. They were transporting coal from Khammam district to Kotthur in Mahbubnagar district. As their lorry reached the outer ring road near Shamshabad a tyre on the right side of the vehicle got punctured. As they both got down to replace it, a truck on the same stretch of road hit them resulting in the instant death of Srinivas Rao.

He was a native of Penuganchiprolu in Krishna district. He is survived by wife, two daughters and a son.
