An App for Sammakka Saralamma Jatara

Hyderabad: Students of National Institute of Technology, Warangal, created a mobile app for the benefit of devotees visiting the Sammakka Saralamma Jatara scheduled from February 17 to 21.

Commissioned by the Warangal district police, the app was launched by Telangana DGP Anurag Sharma at his office on Friday. The new app will provide live information about parking spaces at the Jatara, traffic movement, route map and available parking spaces besides crowd movement at the bathing ghats.
Led by professor S Ravinder, students Saitej, Rahul, Devender and Shivam explained the working of the app to the police officers. The DGP also reviewed a video on the Jatara prepared by the Warangal police, on the occasion.
