Land Pooling: Big relief for capital area farmers
Hyderabad: In a big relief to the AP capital area farmers, who did not want to part with their land in AP government's land-pooling, the AP High Court has directed the AP Government not to pressurise the farmers to part with their lands.
The court also asked the Chandrababu Naidu government not to create hurdles for the farmers. The High Court asked the AP government not to force farmers to donate their land for the purpose of capital. Court ordered TDP government not to disturb the normal life of farmers.
As many as 200 farmers approached the court to exempt them from giving their lands for the formation of the capital region. Advocate Ponnavollu Sudhakar Reddy fought on behalf of farmers in Court. Farmers explained court that they were forcibly made to sign 9.2 form which say that farmers are willing to part their lands.
Court supported farmers and gave its verdict on Wednesday.
