Lakshmi Parvathi hits out at government's empathy
YSR Congress Party leader Lakshmi Parvathi on Monday said that the state government had adopted a very irresponsible approach towards rescuing the Telugu pilgrims stranded in Uttarkhand.
Lakshmi Parvathi and her son visited Tirumala to offer prayers to Lord Venkateswara in the morning. After the darshan, she said that other states' reaction time to rescue mission was quicker and hence results better.
She alleged that government was mum when the Telugu pilgrims in AP Bhavan were subject to insult.
She also requested the temple authorities to not put ordinary people in trouble because of VIP visitor.
