KTR meets Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju

New Delhi: KT Rama Rao, Telangana Minister for IT and NRI Affairs, has made an appeal to Union Minister for Civil Aviation Ashok Gajapathi Raju to take measures for running direct flights from Hyderabad to Dallas and New York. KTR called on the Civil Aviation Minister Raju here on Friday.

Dallas is a modern metropolis in north Texas and a commercial and cultural hub of the region which is home to a considerable number of Telugu and South Indian population.

KTR has also requested the Union Minister to take up the actions for setting up of green field airports at Nizamabad and Kothagudem in Telangana.

He also asked the Central Minister to consider the state government’s plan for construction of Pharma City in Hyderabad, Heliports at Aleru and Kagajnagar.
