KTR inaugurates painting exhibition
Hyderabad: Artist Hari Srinivas decided to name his painting exhibition at Taj Deccan ‘Vivid’ as all the paintings on display were inspired by what he saw on day-to-day basis. The exhibition inaugurated by Telangana Panchayat Raj and IT Minister K.T. Rama Rao had on display an array of paintings which resonated with what he described as his “love for playing around with colours''.
The exhibition welcomed the guests with 34 paintings from the life of a common man to a woman’s struggle to come out of darkness and see the light of the day.
“General observation and vibrant colour” is he how Srinivas explains about how he draws inspiration for his paintings.
Srinivas is known for his bold usage of colours and abstract themes in his paintings and his observation of day-to-day routine vivid events reflect in the Exhibition- Vivid.
Srinivas has exhibited his work across India and this is his 58th exhibition.
In a brief chat with Sakshipost, Hari says that he has always been inspired by colours that he sees on an everyday basis. “Red is my favourite colour and my art reflects vibrant colours and common observations, that is why I thought of naming the exhibition – Vivid”, Hari Srinivas said.
Tollywood actor Suman and several other dignitaries were also present at the opening ceremony.
