Konda couple vows to continue support to YSRCP

Konda Surekha and her husband Konda Murali, who met YSRCP president Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy at Chanchalguda jail on Tuesday, dismissed speculations and made it clear that they were with the YSR family. They said they will continue their support to the party forever.

Konda Surekha, however, said there were some mistakes which were common in any party and they had been rectified after meeting Jagan. Rejecting the rumors that she was maintaining distance from the party for being denied an MLC post, Surekha said some political developments in Warangal district had made her to stay aloof. However, she said she would stand by the party leadership and participate in the party affairs henceforth. She appealed to the party cadre not to lose confidence even in sleep on Jagan’s leadership and strive for party’s development.
